The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,473.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Perrault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Out In The Cold in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 155,239.81).
