Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Mongolian Pheasants on a White Table by Leon Francesco Morrocco was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,178.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Leon Francesco Morrocco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,629.23).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Mongolian Pheasants on a White Table von Leon Francesco Morrocco kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.178,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leon Francesco Morrocco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunlight On Fishermen'S Houses, Procida, Bay Of Naples im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.629,23).
