In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French le Goûter by Léon Perrault. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,000.00 (€ 68,219.03), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Perrault - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Out In The Cold, which sold at auction in April 2010 for USD 206,500.00 (€ 155,239.81).

Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French le Goûter von Léon Perrault zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 68.219,03) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Perrault mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Out In The Cold beobachtet, die im April 2010 für USD 206.500,00 (€ 155.239,81) versteigert wurde.
