This price was achieved in the auction Annabel's at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Bakst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Dancer In Costume in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 624,000.00 (€ 926,659.53).
