It achieved a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,758.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leo Villareal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cloud Drawing (Medium) 1 in November this year with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 69,306.93).

Die Arbeit Bulbox 1.0 von Leo Villareal wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.758,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leo Villareal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cloud Drawing (Medium) 1 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 69.306,93).
