This work of art by Leif-Erik Nygards could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary, Stockholm auction, the work "Marilyn Monroe photographed in Los Angeles at Bel Air Hotel, June 27th 1962" changed hands for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,611.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Leif-Erik Nygards have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2012 by the work "Marilyn Monroe, Bel Air Hotel, June 27th 1962" at SEK 90,000.00 (€ 10,383.55).
