This artwork by Leander Engström achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2016. In the Moderna auction, the work "Självporträtt" (Selfportrait) sold for SEK 150,000.00 (€ 16,322.87) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leander Engström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Badstranden" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leander Engström erzielte im April 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moderna wurde die Arbeit "Självporträtt" (Selfportrait) für SEK 150.000,00 (€ 16.322,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leander Engström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Badstranden" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45).
