The work Intimations by Lawren Stewart Harris was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in June 2010. The »bidding war« ended at CAD 163,500.00 (€ 125,415.18), 36% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lawren Stewart Harris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Sketch LXIII in November last year with an auction result of USD 882,000.00 (€ 854,402.79).

Die Arbeit Intimations von Lawren Stewart Harris wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CAD 163.500,00 (€ 125.415,18) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lawren Stewart Harris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain Sketch LXIII im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 882.000,00 (€ 854.402,79).
