Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lan Yinding could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART auction, the work Scenery of Taiwan suburb changed hands for HKD 50,190.00 (€ 6,511.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lan Yinding have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Living beside the river in October 2002 with an auction result of HKD 478,000.00 (€ 62,017.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lan Yinding konnte im Oktober 2002 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART wechselte die Arbeit Scenery of Taiwan suburb für HKD 50.190,00 (€ 6.511,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lan Yinding auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Living beside the river im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 478.000,00 (€ 62.017,61).
