This artwork by Lan Yinding achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Lush Landscape sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,902.37) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lan Yinding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Living beside the river, which sold at auction in October 2002 for HKD 478,000.00 (€ 62,017.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lan Yinding erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lush Landscape für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.902,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lan Yinding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Living beside the river beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für HKD 478.000,00 (€ 62.017,61) versteigert wurde.
