Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bliss by Lan Yinding was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. The price achieved of HKD 418,250.00 (€ 27,149.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lan Yinding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Living beside the river, which sold at auction in October 2002 for HKD 478,000.00 (€ 62,017.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bliss von Lan Yinding kam im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 418.250,00 (€ 27.149,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lan Yinding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Living beside the river beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für HKD 478.000,00 (€ 62.017,61) versteigert wurde.
