In February 2007 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Lalu Prasad Shaw. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,600.00 (€ 11,791.38), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lalu Prasad Shaw have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,658.81) in May 2007 for the work Woman With Flower.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2007 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lalu Prasad Shaw zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 11.791,38) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Lalu Prasad Shaw haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.658,81) im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Woman With Flower beobachtet.
