Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bullets Revisited #3, 2012 by Lalla Essaydi was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,163.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Lalla Essaydi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work Bullets Revisited #3 was auctioned for USD 81,250.00 (€ 61,702.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bullets Revisited #3, 2012 von Lalla Essaydi wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.163,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Lalla Essaydi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit Bullets Revisited #3 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 61.702,61) versteigert.
