Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II, which included the work Landscape by Lai Shaoqi. The price achieved of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 1,726.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lai Shaoqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,770,000.00 (€ 194,809.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Lai Shaoqi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 1.726,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lai Shaoqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.770.000,00 (€ 194.809,41).
