Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Regular Script by Lai Shaoqi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 21,600.00 (€ 2,767.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lai Shaoqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,770,000.00 (€ 194,809.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script von Lai Shaoqi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 21.600,00 (€ 2.767,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lai Shaoqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.770.000,00 (€ 194.809,41).
