Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Pendeen Watch by Kurt Jackson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,024.00 (€ 1,194.70). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kurt Jackson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rabbit Fence, Wind Break, Runner Beans in March this year with an auction result of GBP 15,300.00 (€ 17,406.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pendeen Watch von Kurt Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.024,00 (€ 1.194,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kurt Jackson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rabbit Fence, Wind Break, Runner Beans im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.300,00 (€ 17.406,71).
