Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kurt Jackson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July last year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work One Evening Down Cape sold for GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,703.19) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kurt Jackson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Rabbit Fence, Wind Break, Runner Beans sold at auction in March this year with the realized price of GBP 15,300.00 (€ 17,406.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kurt Jackson erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit One Evening Down Cape für GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.703,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kurt Jackson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Rabbit Fence, Wind Break, Runner Beans im März diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 15.300,00 (€ 17.406,71).
