This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 900.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Kurt Jackson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rabbit Fence, Wind Break, Runner Beans in March this year with an auction result of GBP 15,300.00 (€ 17,406.71).
