Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seasoned Kelp and Asakusa Laver (Kashi konbu Asakusa nori) by Kubo Shunman was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,768.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Kubo Shunman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Edo Period (1615-1868), 1810S in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 56,562.50 (€ 48,857.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seasoned Kelp and Asakusa Laver (Kashi konbu Asakusa nori) von Kubo Shunman kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.768,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kubo Shunman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Edo Period (1615-1868), 1810S im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.562,50 (€ 48.857,65).
