Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hisakataya juban no uchi (A Set of 10 Designs for the Hisakataya Circle) by Kubo Shunman was sold in the Japan-Mania (Online-only) auction at Bonhams in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 741.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kubo Shunman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Edo Period (1615-1868), 1810S in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 56,562.50 (€ 48,857.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hisakataya juban no uchi (A Set of 10 Designs for the Hisakataya Circle) von Kubo Shunman wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Japan-Mania (Online-only) bei Bonhams versteigert.
