Edo period (1615-1868), late 1780s
Two oban tate-e bijinga prints of Noda no Tamagawa (Jewel River in Noda) and Koya no Tamagawa (Jewel River in Koya), the fifth and sixth sheet (from the right to left) from the hexaptych Mutamagawa (The Six Jewel Rivers), published by Fushimiya Zenroku, signed Shunman ga/Kubo Shunman ga; both mounted on card. The fifth sheet: 38cm x 25.1cm (14 15/16in x 9 7/8in); the sixth sheet: 37.5cm x 24.3cm (14¾in x 9 9/16in). (2).
