In the Fine Japanese and Korean Art, including the Crawford Collection of Surimono auction, the work Edo Period (1615-1868) sold for USD 14,025.00 (€ 12,114.54) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kubo Shunman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Edo Period (1615-1868), 1810S in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 56,562.50 (€ 48,857.65).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kubo Shunman erzielte im September 2021 bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Japanese and Korean Art, including the Crawford Collection of Surimono wurde die Arbeit Edo Period (1615-1868) für USD 14.025,00 (€ 12.114,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kubo Shunman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Edo Period (1615-1868), 1810S im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.562,50 (€ 48.857,65).
