Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Looking At Me by Korehiko Hino was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The price achieved of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,258.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Korehiko Hino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Is It a Dream, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 1,807,500.00 (€ 158,008.58).

Die Arbeit Looking At Me von Korehiko Hino kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.258,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Korehiko Hino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Is It a Dream beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 1.807.500,00 (€ 158.008,58) versteigert wurde.
