This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Korehiko Hino; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Is It a Dream sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of HKD 1,807,500.00 (€ 158,008.58).
