The work Misty Valley by Koo Mei was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Paris in June this year. It achieved a price of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,889.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Admittedly, works by Koo Mei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Majestic Panorama in May last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 38,893.15).

Die Arbeit Misty Valley von Koo Mei wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.889,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Koo Mei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Majestic Panorama im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 38.893,15).
