The work Morning by Koo Mei was sold in the Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. It achieved a price of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,738.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Admittedly, works by Koo Mei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Majestic Panorama in May last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 38,893.15).

Die Arbeit Morning von Koo Mei wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.738,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Koo Mei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Majestic Panorama im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 38.893,15).
