Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man and table by Klaas Gubbels was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Klaas Gubbels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tafel met kan en trechter in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Man and table von Klaas Gubbels wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Klaas Gubbels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tafel met kan en trechter im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
