Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snow Covered Houses by Kiyoshi Saito was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 756.00 (€ 667.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kiyoshi Saito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Showa era (1926-1989) in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,467.70).
