Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Katsura Kyoto by Kiyoshi Saito was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 882.00 (€ 779.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kiyoshi Saito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Showa era (1926-1989) in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,467.70).
