The work Unknown by Kikukawa Eizan was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2013. It achieved a price of USD 1,125.00 (€ 877.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kikukawa Eizan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Haru no raku (Spring pleasures) in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,869.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Kikukawa Eizan kam im März 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 877,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kikukawa Eizan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Haru no raku (Spring pleasures) im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.869,90).
