Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait by Kiko Escora was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in April 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,875.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kiko Escora have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait von Kiko Escora wurde im April 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.875,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kiko Escora auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31).
