In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included this untitled work by Kiko Escora. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,466.43), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kiko Escora - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).

Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kiko Escora zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.466,43) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Kiko Escora mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31) versteigert wurde.
