Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Portrait by Kiko Escora. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 9,812.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Kiko Escora have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2008 the work Portrait was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait von Kiko Escora zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 9.812,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kiko Escora konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2008 die Arbeit Portrait für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31) versteigert.
