Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kerstin Brätsch could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,484.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kerstin Brätsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quasi in rem in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 40,180.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kerstin Brätsch konnte im April 2017 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.484,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kerstin Brätsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quasi in rem im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 40.180,83).
