Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Quill Box by Kenneth Southworth Davies was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,609.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Southworth Davies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Clapboards & Shadows in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 237,500.00 (€ 216,026.92).
