Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kenneth Southworth Davies could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art Online auction, the work Quill Box changed hands for USD 2,800.00 (€ 2,470.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Southworth Davies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Clapboards & Shadows in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 237,500.00 (€ 216,026.92).
