Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Morning Owl Family by Ken Lum for USD 875.00 (€ 589.58). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ken Lum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Miss Vancouver in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,980.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Morning Owl Family von Ken Lum für USD 875,00 (€ 589,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ken Lum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Miss Vancouver im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 9.980,40).
