In September this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online, which included the work Jim and Susan's Motel from the Shopkeeper Series, 2000 by Ken Lum. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,240.00 (€ 9,674.98), 46% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ken Lum have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,980.40) in March 2014 for the work Miss Vancouver.
