Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature Painting by Keith Tyson was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,761.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Tyson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Painting in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,533.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nature Painting von Keith Tyson wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.761,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Tyson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Painting im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 320.533,14).
