Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Wired: Online Auction, which included the work Studio Wall Drawing: 29th March 2007: Trajectories and Dynamics (object as event as object as event as object...) by Keith Tyson. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,300.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Tyson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Painting in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,533.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Wired: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studio Wall Drawing: 29th March 2007: Trajectories and Dynamics (object as event as object as event as object...) von Keith Tyson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.300,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Tyson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Painting im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 320.533,14).
