Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Creek by Keith Carter was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2009. The price achieved of USD 625.00 (€ 471.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Carter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fireflies in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,438.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Creek von Keith Carter kam im April 2009 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 625,00 (€ 471,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Carter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fireflies im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.438,87).
