Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Keegan Mchargue was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 563.00 (€ 639.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keegan Mchargue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Center in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,135.95).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Keegan Mchargue wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 563,00 (€ 639,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keegan Mchargue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Center im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.135,95).
