Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kcho was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,164.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Kcho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La columna infinita II in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kcho kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.164,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kcho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La columna infinita II im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
