In December 2018 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Interstellar Stargate by Katrin Fridriks. The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,711.33), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Katrin Fridriks have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 75,749.92).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interstellar Stargate von Katrin Fridriks zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.711,33) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katrin Fridriks auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 64.900,00 (€ 75.749,92).
