Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Stendhal Syndrome No. 7 by Katrin Fridriks for GBP 9,450.00 (€ 10,493.42). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Katrin Fridriks have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 75,749.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Stendhal Syndrome No. 7 von Katrin Fridriks für GBP 9.450,00 (€ 10.493,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katrin Fridriks auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 64.900,00 (€ 75.749,92).
