In April 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Desktop: Online Auction, which included the work FACE Face (Decoding Iceland Series) by Katrin Fridriks. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,751.71) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katrin Fridriks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 75,749.92).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Desktop: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit FACE Face (Decoding Iceland Series) von Katrin Fridriks zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.751,71) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katrin Fridriks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 64.900,00 (€ 75.749,92).
