Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Master Sunshine by Katrin Fridriks was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | London auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,339.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katrin Fridriks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 75,749.92).

Die Arbeit Master Sunshine von Katrin Fridriks wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.339,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katrin Fridriks erzielen.
