Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Killer by Katrin Fridriks. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 6,010.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katrin Fridriks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 75,749.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Killer von Katrin Fridriks zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 6.010,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katrin Fridriks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 64.900,00 (€ 75.749,92).
