Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Gene & Ethics by Katrin Fridriks. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,687.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Katrin Fridriks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 64,900.00 (€ 75,749.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gene & Ethics von Katrin Fridriks zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.687,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Katrin Fridriks mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 64.900,00 (€ 75.749,92) versteigert wurde.
