Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Bells Are Ringing Nr. 14 by Katrin Fridriks. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,195.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katrin Fridriks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 75,749.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bells Are Ringing Nr. 14 von Katrin Fridriks zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.195,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katrin Fridriks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apocalypse - Gene & Ethics im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 64.900,00 (€ 75.749,92).
